The National Museum of African Art is the Smithsonian Institution’s African art museum. It is the only national museum in the United States dedicated to the collection, exhibition, conservation, and study of the arts of Africa. The mission of the museum is to foster the discovery and appreciation of the visual arts of Africa, the cradle of humanity.
The installation of security window film and impact protection attachment systems provides enhanced security for the museum against bomb blasts, and other high-energy impact forces that cause severe damage to people and property.
The Smithsonian National Museum of African Art is located on the National Mall of the United States Capitol, 950 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20560
