The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), commonly referred to as Metro, is a non-federal tri-jurisdictional government agency that operates transit service in the Washington metro area. The current headquarters of the Metro is the Jackson Graham building which is home to over 1,300 employees and contractors.
The Metro Building project included the installation of security film with attachment systems to mitigate against potential bomb blasts. The installation of the security window film was completed after business hours on evenings and weekends to prevent any disruptions.
