The United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is an independent agency of the US Federal Government that manages the government’s civilian workforce. They provide federal human resources policy, oversight, and support and tend to healthcare, life insurance, and retirement benefits for federal government employees, retirees, and their dependents. OPM is headed by a director, who is nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. On March 4, 2019, President Donald Trump nominated Dale Cabaniss to be OPM’s director.
The OPM building project included the installation of Commercial Security Window Film and Impact Protection Attachment Systems to enhance the building security for the building, assets, and occupants by mitigating the damages of bomb blasts and other high-impact events.
